Music I Like: Black Atlass

Black Atlass has been favorite of mine since he just appeared on the scene. But now I am super excited as the new EP "Young Bloods" just came out yesterday and it's bloody awesome.

The Rose is my favorite from the whole EP

I love it so much, the beats, the vocals everything is perfect, especially taking into consideration that he is only 19 years old.

My Spring Inspiration: Leather and Floral, Bomber and Biker jackets

I am already in anticipation of March. February is my least favorite month even though it's full of events and interviews for me this year, which I quite like. However I can't wait to wear my new leather bomber jacket, and I really hope I'm not gonna get cold. This year I have been a good girl and  mostly been wearing winter clothes only. So now the time is coming to make things lighter.

My spring inspiration.

Fashion And 1980s Films

I already wrote about how inspiring films can be in some fashion choices. At the moment I am fascinated by the idea you get regarding clothes when you watch 80s films. In some films, actors look incredibly well dressed. Well, it's a well known fact that fashion comes in cycles, and always returns. But seeing it on screen in motion is just too unreal. So here are some of the films from the 80s where I really liked the outfits (films are worth checking out as well)

           After Hours (1985)

And finally my all time favorite ASSA (1987), every single outfit in the film I like as well as the music, plot and acting. Set in Crimea is about underground musicians rising to the scene in Soviet Russia as well as slightly complicated love triangle between young nurse, her criminal middle aged boyfriend and a young experimental musician is so worth checking out.

Artists I Like: Pasha Setrova

She's been on my facebook and instagram pages for ages, I always admired her dolls sculptures. Originally from Russia, she resides now in NYC. I am in Love with her dolls, they are incredibly detailed and almost alive, like they have a life story to tell. I can imagine how much hard work it takes to create one, but none less it is really motivational, as I have studied sculpture for couple of years, but was able to do animals and human bust only. Inspires me to get down and dirty with mud or porcelain.

Favourite Illustrators: Rohan Daniel Eason

Rohan Daniel Eason is one of my favorite illustrators from London. I think he is incredibly talented. He brings to life atmosphere of a dark nightmare like fairy tale perfectly.

He tattooed leather with ink for Annette Olivieri, an italian designer which inspired a pair of Victorian dinner gloves, which as he mentioned were bought by Yoko Ono.
