Fashion And 1980s Films
I already wrote about how inspiring films can be in some fashion choices. At the moment I am fascinated by the idea you get regarding clothes when you watch 80s films. In some films, actors look incredibly well dressed. Well, it's a well known fact that fashion comes in cycles, and always returns. But seeing it on screen in motion is just too unreal. So here are some of the films from the 80s where I really liked the outfits (films are worth checking out as well)
And finally my all time favorite ASSA (1987), every single outfit in the film I like as well as the music, plot and acting. Set in Crimea is about underground musicians rising to the scene in Soviet Russia as well as slightly complicated love triangle between young nurse, her criminal middle aged boyfriend and a young experimental musician is so worth checking out.

The Tale of a Fairy by Karl Lagerfeld - CHANEL
Not so old favorite short film of mine.
Filmed for Chanel Cruise Collection in 2011, received mixed reviews, however I really enjoyed these 25 minutes of looking at Freja Beha as a fairy.
Surreal, chick and might be shocking for some.

Horror Films And Fashion
Sounds weird, I know. But horror films, I would say are my main passion. There are a lot of indie horror films full of incredible cinematography, visuals and sometimes clothes. I get inspired a lot by films, occasionally even with fashion choices. In most mainstream films, especially horror, clothes worn by actors are too simple, t shirts and jeans for example. But what about some really cool pieces, that you can't help but stare at rather than focusing on some tense scenes instead? I think everyone had this moment, but probably not with horror films.
