Perfect Winter Coat No Matter What

Last winter I was so in love with my Wool Zara Leather Collar Coat, I adored it for whole two months when I just got it. One day on a subway I saw 10, i'm not joking, 10! exactly same Zara Coats. I stopped wearing it after that day and gave it away to charity later on. Since then I started counting all the women wearing that coat, out of curiosity, lost the count after around 40th coat I seen in London. Well I don't know if it just me, but I feel so awkward seeing someone in exactly same piece of clothing passing me by. It's fine If it happens once or twice (not really, no), but more than 10 is ridiculous. So this winter I got myself two basic coats from TK Maxx (discounted designer coats, they were one of a kind and in one size only): a long one and a basic shorter pea coat, without any standing out details and one leather jacket transforming into a coat. What I decided to do with those two basic coats is add removable accessories to them if I felt like making them more unique such as scarfs or fur collars, studs, brooches. And surprise surprise no more lookalikes, well maybe because most of the people are still wearing that Zara coat:

My take on perfect coats is to be as basic as possible, but good in quality and to have at least 60-80% of wool in it.
