Sky Ferreira. Artists I Like.

Sky Ferreira is one of a few female artists I like, and I like them quite rarely. Most my music preferences are limited to male vocalists, I don't really know why but I love some deep, low male vocals. Sometimes I find it that women try too hard, and it can go really wrong. I like Sky a lot, maybe because she's a fellow Cancer haha, she doesn't try too hard, from glamorous model she went looking all grunge, letting Terry Richardson direct her music videos. And it looks better and better to me, with every new release she does.

I was skeptical after seeing the trailer of the film for the first time. Then I found out that my favorite band Arcade Fire has written and composed a whole album as a soundtrack for Her I am now super excited in anticipation to see the actual film, because I loved the album, especially instrumental pieces.

Her (2013) is a science fiction drama about the romance between a lonely writer and a artificially intelligent operating system.

Having read a lot of reviews I am now really intrigued, as it appears to be true to it's genre and incredibly sad at the moment. Which I think might be very interesting plot for film, living in high technological world and spending more and more time online. The line between real and unreal, artificially created by the humans is really blurry. Somehow I still think it's a little bit ironical. Like a love story between Iphone user and super intelligent Siri of the future.
